Does the person need an app?
No. Recent iPhones and most Android phones read the chip without an app. On some Android phones the NFC setting has to be on.
Where can the chip point?
Any web address: your website, a booking page, a menu, a page with your offer of the month. We can build that page for you too.
Can I change where it points later?
Yes. We point the chip at an address we keep for you, so you can change the page behind it at any time without touching the caps.
How long does an order take?
With the embroidered logo, about 7 to 8 weeks from your approval of the design to your door: about 2.5 to 3.5 weeks to make the caps (a patch, TPU or silicone: about 3.5 to 5 weeks), then about 30 days of standard shipping. Express shipping is faster and costs more. Need them for a date? Tell us in the form.
What is the smallest order?
48 caps. The more you order, the less each cap costs, up to 250. Need more than 250? Tell us how many in the form and we come back with special pricing for your quantity.
What does it cost?
As an estimate, from $14.03 a cap with the Tap-My-Cap chip and your embroidered logo, depending on the cap and the number of caps. A patch, a raised or a 3D logo adds a little per cap (see the list above the form). Shipping, customs duties and import taxes are extra: the caps ship from overseas, and your quote adds our estimate of them (duties are set by your country's customs).
